These terms govern your use of the Field & Ink website and, when purchasing becomes available, our products. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

What we make

Field & Ink creates original, hand‑lettered artwork depicting the public, factual record of real baseball games — sold as digital files and fine‑art prints. Each piece is our own creative work.

Not affiliated with MLB or any team

Field & Ink is independent and is not affiliated with, licensed by, sponsored, authorized, or endorsed by Major League Baseball, the MLB Players Association, or any team, venue, or player. Team and player names are used solely to factually identify the historical games depicted; all trademarks belong to their respective owners. The game information used in our work was obtained free of charge from and is copyrighted by Retrosheet.

Our content

The scorebook renderings, handwriting, page designs, text, images, and other content on this site are owned by Field & Ink and are protected by copyright. You may view them for personal, non‑commercial purposes. Please don’t copy, reproduce, resell, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

Waitlist & reservations

Joining our waitlist or reserving a keepsake simply registers your interest — it is not a purchase, order, or payment, and it doesn’t create any obligation for you or for us. Products, finishes, pricing, and availability shown on the site are subject to change, and a reservation doesn’t guarantee a product will be offered.

Orders & payment

We are currently pre‑launch and not yet processing payments. When ordering opens, additional terms (including our Shipping & Returns policy) will apply. Because each piece is made to order for a specific game, products are custom by nature.

Photos you provide

If you ever provide a photo to accompany an order, you confirm that you own it or have the right to use it, and you give us permission to reproduce it for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We do not supply or print professional/licensed photography.

Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, access it through automated means at scale, or use it for anything unlawful.

Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error‑free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Field & Ink will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the relevant product.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Field & Ink is established, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the “Effective” date above shows the latest version.
